Join the Investments & Data Technology department's Investments Bespoke Solutions (IBS) team, where we develop custom applications to drive our core business processes. Our systems handle millions of euros daily, supporting tasks such as instrument ranking, investment portfolio rebalancing, and evaluating investment opportunities. The team comprises 16 software engineers, divided into four teams, each led by a developer. Our cloud solution architect ensures teams work autonomously.

Each team has an experienced product owner who translates future visions into daily tasks (backlog). We continuously improve our technology and methodologies, adopting a DevOps approach. Our applications are deployed in Azure, designed to be cloud-native, and utilize microservice architecture combined with Domain-Driven Design, CQRS, and Event Sourcing principles. We use APIs and integrate with Snowflake for data exposure, and our frontends are built with Vue.js. Automated testing is integral to our strategy.

Position & Requirements

As a Senior Full-stack .NET Azure Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate closely with the Product Owner and team members to meet product requirements and align technical solutions with business goals. You will take ownership of complex development tasks, mentor junior developers, and ensure adherence to best coding and architecture practices. Additionally, you will foster a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement, enhancing both workflow and technology stack.

Candidate Profile:

• Experience: At least 8 years in .NET software development.
• Backend Development: Over 8 years of expertise in .NET and C#, with a strong grasp of SOLID principles, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Clean Architecture, Microservices, and Event-Driven architectures.
• Frontend Development: Proficient in modern frameworks like Vue.js, Angular, or React.
• Automated Testing: Experience with testing frameworks such as Pester, xUnit, NUnit, and frontend testing tools like Cypress or Selenium.
• DevOps and CI/CD: Hands-on experience with IaC, Azure DevOps, ARM templates, Bicep, Powershell, and Docker for automated deployments.
• Azure Expertise: Proficient in developing cloud-native solutions using Microsoft Azure services such as Azure Container Apps, Azure-SQL, Event-Grid, Application Insights, Azure Storage, Entra ID.
• Agile Methodologies: Experience in Scrum and Agile working.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication and social skills.
• Team Support: Ability to coach and support team members constructively.
• Language Proficiency: Proficient in both Dutch and English (written and spoken).
