Guild Lead Product Guild

Are you ready to shape and drive the evolution of product leadership at NN? As the Guild Lead of the Product Guild, you’ll be both the visionary and executionary force behind maturing the product management profession. This role is part of a strategic initiative with an intended duration of approximately two years, offering you the opportunity to make a lasting impact on how we build and lead product teams across NN. You’ll define the strategy, inspire excellence, and ensure Product Owners and Product Managers across the organization are equipped to lead with confidence—delivering products our customers love and that work for our business.

What you are going to do

• Shape the Vision and Strategy: Define the vision and the long-term strategy for the product profession at NN, aligning it with the company’s digital and business transformation goals
• Build Capabilities: Drive the maturity of the product professions by developing learning paths, standards, and mentoring programs that elevate the skills of Product Owners and Product Managers
• Develop the Product Way of Working: Design and embed core product practices and tools—such as product vision, strategy, and OKRs—to support consistent, high-impact delivery across teams
• Lead the Community: Foster a strong, inclusive network of 250+ product professionals through events, knowledge-sharing, and thought leadership
• Engage Strategically: Collaborate with senior leaders, HR, and other Guild Leads to embed product excellence across NN and influence hiring and talent development
• Drive Operational Excellence: Ensure governance, track progress, and bring in external perspectives to continuously raise the bar for product management at NN

• Salary between €6,872 and €11,274 depending on your knowledge and experience (based on 36 hours)

Who you are

• You are currently living in the Netherlands
• You are experienced product professional with 10+ years in senior product professions
• You have deep knowledge of how a product organization works best, of product management principles, frameworks, and maturity models, with the ability to inspire, steer, coach and elevate others
• You have strong facilitation and communication skills to foster an inclusive, engaged, and collaborative product community
• You are confident in engaging with senior leaders, HR, and cross-functional partners to embed product excellence and shape talent strategies
• You have a proactive mindset to bring in industry best practices, contribute to professional standards, and ensure operational effectiveness

Who you will work with

As Guild Lead, you’ll share the leadership with another Guild Lead for the Product Guild, collaborate closely with a core product team, a community of guild leads, and over 200 product professionals. You’ll also be supported by two dedicated product sponsors and HR colleagues who will help you bring your vision to life and drive meaningful change across the organization.
