About this role
Are you ready to lead with data-driven insights? As our Senior Financial Accountant for the Dutch market, you will join our Global Finance Operations team to drive excellence in reporting and analytics. This role is about more than just numbers; it’s about delivering impact through technical expertise and caring for our stakeholders by providing actionable insights. You will play a pivotal part in our Record to Report (R2R) journey, combining high-level accounting with advanced data visualization to support strategic decision-making across our international landscape.
These are some of the key components to the position:
- Drive excellence by executing month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring reporting accuracy and IFRS compliance.
- Lead the Dutch market entity’s financial reporting, acting as the primary point of contact for local audit requirements.
- Deliver impactful financial insights by performing variance analysis and investigating discrepancies to ensure data integrity.
- Optimize R2R processes by identifying opportunities for standardization and automation within the accounting workflow.
- Support strategic decision-making by developing dashboards and visualizing data for senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Payroll and Tax, to ensure aligned and high-quality financial reporting.
What will you bring to the team?
- Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent) with a commitment to high professional standards.
- Technical expertise in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and preparation of Statutory Financial Statements (SFS).
- Proficiency in data-handling tools such as SQL or Python to structure complex datasets for analysis.
- Experience with visualization tools like Power BI to create clear, insightful financial reports for the team.
- Advanced proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and Excel to manage large-scale financial workflows.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to communicate financial trends effectively in a fast-paced environment.
